We are a small fast growing SEO agency based near Lewes. We do have an office but remote working is certainly an option as well as a combination of both. We love what we do and have some amazing clients. We don’t take life too seriously but we do think being happy in your job is very important. To that end we have unlimited holiday (fair use policy applies 😉) flexi working hours and certainly no dress code. We work on the basis that we all have tasks to complete but if you prefer doing them at night then you do you! While we tend to work during the day if you need to be somewhere you can be. As long as the work is done and done well within the agreed time we are happy if you are happy. It is critical that you are self-motivated and able to manage your own time and workload in order to make this happen. We are also super happy for people to have side hustles, afterall they are a great way to test what you are learning and experiment.

About You

You need to have 2-3 years’ experience in hands on SEO work. You need to be able to create, curate and edit content really well. You need a good handle on general SEO concepts and any specialisms will always be of interest too. Ideally you will be happy writing page content, blogs, articles and content marketing pieces as well as understanding how to carefully edit and optimise existing content based on agreed aims. Any knowledge of link building and outreach is a huge bonus!
Along with a good understanding of the concepts of SEO it would be handy if you are able to use GA and GSC but if you are trained on other software that’s fine.
Experience with WordPress would be great and knowledge of any other CMSs is a bonus.

About the Role

We are looking for an SEO that can jump into the team and do great things. Much of the work will be around using software to identify terms and future work, optimising content on page, creating blogs and outreach content as well as pretty much anything else a client needs in terms of SEO. You may spend a few hours deep in GSC looking for opportunities to work on and then spend the rest of the day tweaking page titles and content. The next day could be keyword research coupled with some digging on competitor optimisation. We can’t really tell you specifically what each day will be like because no two are the same. We do whatever work we feel will get the best results and we need someone to come and join in with that ethos.
